An expansive crafternoon of self-care, manifestation, cacao and community. Deliberately create life as you wish it to be!

Eagerly step into 2026 with an expansive day of ritual and creation in this intentionally carved-out space for envisioning. Set yourself up for success by defining and declaring that 2026 is the year that you leap boldly and courageously into living a heart-led life by design and Let Your Dream Life Appear.

Our dreams are immeasurably powerful and have not dropped into our awareness by accident. They have done so seeking to be claimed and realised.

About the experience:
Each and every new year offers us the opportunity of recalibration, reset and realignment. Prioritising time and space for presence with our desires early in any new year cycle is a demonstrative act of self-love.
Cacao ceremony, activating meditation & future-self journaling practice:
Before defining and declaring our dream life, we first listen to its uninhibited calling from our innermost essence. Cacao is a heart-opening medicine and acts as an aid in amplifying the whispers of our heart.
We will delve inwards to check-in with the path we're currently traversing. Are we travelling in the passenger seat, governed by external drivers or are we navigating life in alignment with our truest authenticity? We will explore our inner landscape with compassion and have revealed to us whether we continue as we are or whether we need to reclaim the wheel of our becoming and recalibrate, realign and readjust. Knowledge is power!
We will connect in with our future-self through a journalling practice where we intentionally make ourselves available as a vessel to receive through us words, ideas, guidance, messages and inspiration. The objective here being to reveal what life looks and feels like when lived on our terms and in our highest alignment so we can take conscious and willing action steps towards its realisation.

“But inspiration is still sitting there right beside me, and it is trying. Inspiration is trying to send me messages in every form it can—through dreams, through portents, through clues, through coincidences, through déjà vu, through kismet, through surprising waves of attraction and reaction, through the chills that run up my arms, through the hair that stands up on the back of my neck, through the pleasure of something new and surprising, through stubborn ideas that keep me awake all night long . . . whatever works. Inspiration is always trying to work with me.”
- Elizabeth Gilbert, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear

Alchemising in our vision board:
We will create. Slowly. Intentionally. Introspectively. There is no rush. Our vision board will take shape and become a take-home tangible representation of our envisioning ritual to be placed somewhere frequently visible. The imagery alchemised upon it will aid in accessing through our sense of sight, a cue to anchor us into experiencing the feeling tone of what we are calling in prior to its actual manifestation.

What's included and what to bring:
All crafternoon materials will be provided: A3 brown kraft card, PLENTY of magazines, books, glue, sharpies, stickers, tape, scissors.
You may wish to bring specific magazines, images, photos or elements for inclusion upon your board from home or gathered elsewhere.
A light snacking station will be provided. Yum!
A note on timing:
It’s recommended that you leave with a fully realised vision board, and the workshop’s 4-hour container is designed to support that. At the same time, creative processes vary, and you’re invited to move at a pace that feels supportive for you.
If your board feels complete earlier, you’re welcome to head off before the articulated end time. If you’d like more spaciousness, you may also stay a little longer to bring your board to completion in a way that feels settled for you.
It may be helpful to create an evening of spaciousness to allow for such flexibility.
A note about the poignant completion of Centre of You's first chapter
If this will be your first time experiencing Centre of You, it may feel meaningful to know that you’re entering during a tender moment in its story. If you already share a connection with COY, this workshop marks the final event to be held in its current space.
There is a poignancy in closing this cycle with the very practice that supported the studio’s creation. You're invited into this moment of transition, a place where endings and beginnings meet, where visioning becomes both retrospective and future-facing, and where Centre of You’s final offering in this space becomes part of its unfolding story.
About your facilitator:
Grace Elizabeth is the visionary founder and director of Centre of You, her greatest intentional manifestation and legacy in the making. The vision-board process offered in this gathering is the very same one that supported the manifestation stage of bringing Centre of You into being five years ago, from a seed of possibility to the studio we will gather in.
Things to note:
Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothes to enable deep breathing and sitting/laying upon the floor with ease. Something to cover your eyes, if you wish to do so (eg. eye mask, scarf). A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded (crystal, teddy, scarf, etc).
Personal responsibility: Please make an assessment on whether you are feeling stable and resourced enough to explore the practices on offer in this event.
Notice of Partial Moment Amateur Photography/Videography: There are many events held at Centre of You where no content is captured. The facilitator of this event however wishes to capture moments of this gathering for future marketing and community-sharing purposes. This will take place via their personal device captured by themselves or a representative. We recognise that being recorded can impact personal comfort and nervous system regulation and we want to honor your preferences. If you do not wish to have your image captured yet still wish to join, know that this is entirely possible at this event. Please speak with us at the door so we can honour your boundaries. If you’d like to review any footage captured at the conclusion of the event, you are most welcome to do so.
Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 12:45pm - 1:00pm. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 1:15pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.
Driving: Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You (unmetered after 4pm).
Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).
Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via hello@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.
Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please reach out via hello@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram
