What This Night Is About
COY is by nature, a space for inner work. It's a place for feeling, revealing and meeting ourselves with reverence. The walls of COY have held much depth, reflection and transformation and will continue to.
But this night is different…
It's a PARTY with PRIZES and SURPRISES to celebrate five years of holding, healing and growing together - still heartfully, still consciously, though a little more loosely.
It's a night to CONNECT with the KINDRED.
We will laugh and play and connect with friends new and old with the support of facilitated authentic relating games. There'll too be lots of free-time to spend chilling in sweet pockets set-up around the space.
It's a night to REMEMBER. To reminisce. As a village.
We'll reminisce about the COY journey so far. We will share our dreams and visions for COY and wish COY's sweet spirit well, setting intentions for its THRIVING continued becoming. This is the 'formal' part of the evening akin to speeches at a celebration.
It’s a night to get CREATIVE. To SHARE.
Last year, an organic open mic / community jam unfurled. No guarantees though it may just happen again so bring your stories, songs, poems, instruments if you feel you may stick around after formalities.

A Note About Ticket Tiers - and How to Choose Yours
Rather than fixed pricing, tickets follow a “pay-what-you-feel” contribution model, inviting you to contribute in the way that feels most aligned.
1. CELEBRATION TICKET - Pay what you feel ($10 - infinity!)
This contribution helps cover the costs of bringing COY to it's community from ongoing venue upkeep through to wish-list items detailed below. Give to the extent you feel moved - every dollar is received with deep gratitude.
2. FINANCIAL ACCESSIBILITY TICKET - $10 contribution
This ticket tier delivers a minor contribution to baseline expenses involved in hosting this particular gathering. It exists to keep the celebration financially accessible for those in a phase of genuine financial strain who may need financial support to attend, while still inviting commitment and reciprocity. If you are unable to exchange $10 and would like to come be in touch via hello@centreofyou.com.au and we will issue you a code for a free ticket.
3. SUPPORTER TICKET - Can’t make it but believe in COY & wish to contribute?
Even if you can’t be there on the night, your contribution can support COY in continuing to nurture and serve its community. You’ll be part of the energy that moves COY from surviving toward that ever-elusive (yet beautifully possible) state of thriving.
Where Your Contribution May Go - Our Current Needs/Wish-List
There are upgrades and investments that COY’s bank balance hasn’t yet allowed, all of which would help COY operate from a more resourced, visible and sustainable foundation:
External projector logo light (footpath signage) and directional arcade signage to increase visibility of COY's location nestled off Chapel St and help newcomers easily find the space.
Space maintenance and aesthetic upgrades, including replacement of room-divider curtain draping and further room segmentation for greater event versatility.
Additional air-conditioning and heating units for a more consistent, comfortable environment year-round.
Continued training and resource development for the COY Support Squad - volunteers in service to COY’s community and facilitating partners.
Replacement of flooring, currently made up of 20+ year-old carpet that has seen much better days.
And in the spirit of dreaming big and in the belief that anything is possible, relocation and re-establishment, supporting COY to move into a more fit-for-purpose and accessible premises when the time and finances are right.

You won’t be the only one - promise. Many arrive at COY solo, it’s one of the things we love most about this community: how quickly strangers become familiar faces. If you’re feeling a bit shy, you can even let us know when you arrive so we can support you to feel oriented + introduced to others.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
You do you, boo - but also... COY loves a reason to dress up.
Grace is stepping out from her usual socks, slides and slothwear and invites you to do the same. Think: expressive, comfortable, celebratory. Wear what helps you feel your most authentic, best self.
NOTICE OF VIDEOGRAPHY & PHOTOGRAPHY
This night is a milestone and we’ll be freely capturing moments throughout. Photos will be uploaded afterward into a shared community folder for you to download, print, frame and post. If you prefer to stay off-camera, feel free to let us know at the door on your arrival.

Absolutely. Do it! We will welcome them with open arms. Shoot them the link and have them register for their own ticket so we can manage numbers. Alternatively you can register a ticket on their behalf (under their name).

ARE CHILDREN OF COY WELCOME?
COY kids - yes! The next generation of feelers, dancers and dreamers are welcome to join the celebration.
IS THIS AN ALCOHOL-FREE GATHERING?
Yes. Centre of You purposely isn’t a licensed venue. We’ll be celebrating life, down Chaps, alcohol-free getting high off our own supply (breath, beats, and belonging).
DO I NEED TO ATTEND FOR THE WHOLE TIME?
We ask that you arrive on time and stick around through to speeches, so we can kick things off, connect and reminisce as a whole community before letting the night unfold more organically. You are however free of course to leave if you wish.
HOW DO I FIND CENTRE OF YOU?
Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs. Nearest crossroad is High St/Chapel St.
WHAT ARE MY PARKING OPTIONS?
Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You (unmetered after 4pm).
HOW DO I GET TO CENTRE OF YOU - TRAIN
Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
HOW DO I GET TO CENTRE OF YOU - TRAM
Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).
