Conscious Perimenopause: Reclaiming This Sacred Rite of Passage.

A full-day workshop honoring perimenopause as a sacred rite of passage. Gain clarity, compassion, and wisdom for this powerful transition.

What if perimenopause isn’t the beginning of the end...

but the beginning of who you’re becoming?

You’ve been taught to fear this transition.

To pathologise your emotions.

To compare yourself to who you once were.

To wonder: where did she go?

You are not broken 🖤

You are unbecoming everything you no longer need to be.

What to expect:

This full-day workshop is designed to support you in meeting perimenopause as an initiation, not as a withdrawal from life, but as an opportunity to embody what is true to you.

Is this for you?

This workshop is for women navigating perimenopause, tender thresholds & inner shifts.

If you’re ready to meet perimenopause not with fear, but with reverence…

If you know something inside is shifting, but you’re unsure how to name it…

This is for you.

What to expect:

✨ Meet those tender parts of self

✨ Embrace the wound of comparison

✨ Explore your truth, your grief, your yes

✨ Learn to trust the wisdom of the in-between

✨ Be held in sacred circle - no fixing, just witnessing

✨ Return home to your sovereignty

What you’ll receive:

✨ A full-day experiential workshop facilitated by Cara Richardson

✨ Personal space for reflection, rest, and integration

✨ Access to recorded cyclical embodiment practices and worksheets for ongoing support

✨ A safe, sacred, and supportive environment for transformation

What we’ll explore:

🌾 The Kiss of the Quickening

A sacred threshold between summer and autumn - that magic hour when life still moves, but something deeper begins to stir.

👑 Embracing Your Inner Maga

She is the Queen, the Truth-Teller, the Sovereign. Even if the world doesn’t see her yet, she is f#cking magical. You’ll learn to meet her with power, not fear.

💔 Grief, Rage & the Sacred Emotions

This path begins with feelings we’ve been taught to hide. You’ll learn to meet them not as problems, but as signs of awakening.

🌑 Encountering the Void

The unknown is where your next becoming begins. Learn how to soften, stay present, and find your ground in the groundless.

💔 Healing the Wound of Comparison

Explore the wound of Aphrodite - the pain of not being enough in a world that worships the Maiden. Rewrite your worth in the language of truth.

🥁 Guided Drum Journey & Sacred Circle

Drop into womb wisdom. Be witnessed in community. Be held without fixing. Just reverent, sacred witnessing.

Two scholarship tickets are available upon request for anyone who feels this event would benefit them but is currently experiencing financial difficulty and unable to comfortably pay the full ticket price. Please reach out via hello@centreofyou.com.au

About your facilitator - Cara Richardson @ohanala.wisdom I Website

This workshop is facilitated by Cara Richardson, a Certified Menstruality Educator, Archetypal Embodiment Facilitator, and Energetic Midwife.

Cara’s work draws from her training with Red School (UK) and the School of Shamanic Womancraft, weaving cyclical wisdom, somatic self-enquiry, and sacred space-holding to support others in reclaiming the power of their inner rhythm.

She facilitates transformational rites of passage and women’s embodiment workshops grounded in menstruality, rewilding, and soulful seasonal transitions.

A few notes directly from Cara:

Morning and afternoon tea will be provided (gluten free, dairy free, nut free).

Please bring your own lunch - there will be a 1-hour break to eat, rest, and reflect.

Things to note:

Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothes to enable deep breathing and sitting/laying upon the floor with ease. Something to cover your eyes, if you wish to do so (eg. eye mask, scarf). A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded (crystal, teddy, scarf, etc).

Personal responsibility: Please make an assessment on whether you are feeling stable and resourced enough to explore the practices on offer in this event. Whilst this event is held within a safe, sacred container, participants are encouraged to assess whether they feel emotionally ready to explore practices that may bring up strong or tender feelings. While grounding tools and emotional safety will be supported throughout, this is not a therapeutic processing space, and each person is responsible for their own wellbeing and support needs.

No Photo/Video Content Will Be Captured: We recognise that being at an event where content is being captured can impact the personal comfort and nervous system regulation of our community. As such, it should be known upfront that this event is a photo and video free space. No content will be captured. We ask all participants to honor this agreement in respect of the shared experience by placing any recording devices away on arrival.

Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 9:15am - 9:30am. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 9:45pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.

Driving: Centre of You is located upon Chapel Street and while you may get lucky with an untimed spot, (try High Street) predominantly 1 and 2 hour parking is available (unmetered from 5pm). So you can fully settle into the practice, we suggest you avoid the need to move your car or risk a fine and park at the CARe multilevel carpark (8-14 King Street Prahran), a 140-metre walk from COY.

1 - 2 Hours parking will be charged at $5.60

2 - 3 Hours parking will be charged at $7.50

3-4 hours parking will be charged at $9.00.

Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).

Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.

Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via hello@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.

Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please reach out via hello@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram

Ticketing T&Cs: We get it, life happens, therefore we will gladly refund you up until 24hrs before the event start time. After that, we have a strict no refund/no transfer to future events policy.
